Most people would be surprised if a businessman offered to openly fund an attempt to undo a democratic vote, taken by the people of a country that is not your own. The Hungarian-American billionaire George Soros has said he is proud to have given £400,000 to an anti-Brexit campaign, saying it was his affection for the UK that prompted his decision. He since pledged another £100,000
Billionaire financier George Soros will pledge an additional 100,000 pounds ($138,130) to Best for Britain, a campaign group seeking to keep Britain in the European Union, the group said in an email to Reuters.
Soros, who donated 400,000 pounds to the campaign last week, will match any donations given to Best for Britain up to 100,000 pounds, after attacks against him in the right-wing press, the group said.
There has been a lot of speculation about his “philanthropic” (Read: Globalist) activities for some time. Normally, they just seem to fade over time and he carries on funding, but someone has stuck their head above the parapet. And not just any old malcontent.
A former professor of sociology at the University of Kent in Canterbury, Frank Furedi recently recounted his experience with the globalist’s “missionaries,” in an article for the UK Telegraph newspaper. He was prompted by the recent revelations about Soros’ efforts to bring down the British government and trigger another EU referendum.
“Soros believes that if the people voted the wrong way, he is entitled to thwart decisions made by them,” Furedi wrote. “Soros does not believe in the legitimacy of borders nor in the authority of national electorates. Consequently, he feels entitled to influence and if possible direct the political destiny of societies all over the world.”
Professor Furedi continues;
Most of those in attendance were smart, idealistic young people who appeared to be committed to making the world a better place. My only concern with the gathering was it regarded its participants as a group of democratic missionaries, who would go back home to spread the good word.
It was later during lunch at a plush Budapest hotel that I encountered the full force of the arrogant ethos promoted by the Soros network of organisations [Sic]. At my table I listened to Dutch, American, British, Ukrainian and Hungarian representatives of Soros NGOs boast about their achievements. Some claimed that they played a major role in the Arab Spring in Egypt. Others voiced their pride in their contribution to the democratisation of the Ukraine. Some bragged about their influence in preparing the ground for the overthrow of the Gadhafi regime in Libya.
I sat quietly and felt uncomfortable with a group of people who so casually assumed that they had the right to play God throughout the world. At one point, the head of the table – a Hungarian leader of a Soros NGO – asked me what I thought about their work. Not wishing to offend, I quietly remarked that I wasn’t sure whether the external imposition of their idea of democracy on the people of Libya was legitimate nor that it would work. Without a second’s hesitation, my interlocutor rounded me with the response: “I don’t think that we have the luxury of waiting until the Libyan people come up with their own Jefferson!
This is quite a shocking scenario, and I got to thinking, is this how the organization operates? Is this their modus operandi? Below may give you an indication of how they get things done.
Back in April 2015. there was some civil unrest in Baltimore, at the Baltimore Washington International Airport. What is particularly worrying is not the civil unrest, although that is bad enough in itself, but the way it was organized. Take a look at this demobilization instruction.
You can clearly see that these are crumpled, having been stuffed into a pocket, notes have also been written on them, and I will come to that. Next, there is a Final Order Operation summary.
The handwriting in the margin says “Make sure you get index from Open Society Institute” (presumably of Baltimore). The Open Society, as I am sure you know, is a big player in Soros’ group of companies. This is all bad enough, but it gets worse, these are instructions on hand to hand combat, remember, this is a civil unrest that is being stoked, there are objectives set out and even a reminder that law enforcement (LE) will be on hand to support the cause, as are tame Baltimore West Airport officials (BWI).
And finally, the most damning of all, advice on payment! People, usually those needing a bit of extra cash, are being told to contact David Donnelly. Under no circumstances are they to divulge they are being paid and from whom.
You will see below that David Donnelly is the executive director and treasurer of Friends of Democracy.
This explains rather well the way Open Society operates, what its goals are and how they will be achieved. In this instance, it is democracy in name only, it is a military destabilization campaign, the type favoured by Marxist regimes to topple an existing government. You will see the objectives have been highlighted in red. To promote civil unrest, and provoke law enforcement.
It also explains that when any participants of a demo of this size are questioned, either by law enforcement or TV news crews, they appear vague, to not know why or what they are demonstrating about. That is because they are bussed in. The issue is not of any concern, they just want to be paid. And paid they are, as you can see from the crumpled docket above.
This looks to me like incitement to sedition. To revolution. Much more than plain old funding and lobbying, and it is unlikely to stop anytime soon. He is preoccupied with derailing Brexit, but that won’t last forever and he will likely return his attention to destabilizing the Trump administration and matters closer to home.
Soros is a naturalized US citizen, having renounced his residency of Hungary. I am quite sure that, if there was an appetite for it, the US has the power to do something about this.
Is there an appetite though?
